R.I.P. Etta James

  Soul Singer Etta James, born Jamesetta Hawkins, dies this morning due to complications with leukemia. Diagnosed in 2010 with the disease, the singer also battled with dementia and hepatitis C.

 James’ last moments were spent at a hospital in Riverside, California with her husband and sons.

Mostly recognized for her songs “At Last,” “A Sunday Kind of Love,” “All I Could do was Cry;” James was just days short of her 74th birthday.
